Sent hubby on grocery run (always a bit scary to do this) for t.p. because we were OUT! My stockpile is gone, gone, gone! He bought the cheapest he could find (skimpy little rolls at that I might add!) for $1.49 for 6 rolls of Thrifty Maid. With tax $1.60. I can't wait until I'm well.... LOL!
First expenditure of the year so I had to report in! Back to bed for me..
Warmly,
Tracey C.
$1200 budget
$1198.40 left in budget.
I hope you feel better soon! At least hubby only came home with tp and not something else, too :-).
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I found you! I am attempting something similar, only I am a family of 5 in Canada and so I am attempting to do it on $2400, because we just don't have the same deals as you folks down south.
ReplyDeleteI have been following Jane4girls too, but have been unable to get her new blog to work....so I have given up, but have booked marked your site...
I hope you are feeling better soon!
BCholly, Hi! Glad you found me too, I hope you do GREAT on your budget!! I may have to up mine before Feburary gets here, but we'll see! LOL! Jane4Girls gave some instructions on how to get her site to work, I think the problem was that Internet Explorer users needed to UPDATE to the newest version, maybe try that? Let me know and I can cut the instructions from her blog and email them to you ok? Also, we have a budget challenge group at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FrugalChallenge/ You are welcome to come join! Just say you saw it on the blog! Over 125 women joining together to challenge their budgets! Fun! Thanks again..
ReplyDeleteWarmly,
Tracey C.
