TARGET Great Kellogg's Cereal Deal & FREE Glade Spray!

Target, oh how you make me smile! Your Dollar Spot can save some green, but mine is so much more AMAZING!! :)

Today at Target, I found the Glade Spray bottles (pump/fabric/air freshener spray) with the attached TARGET coupon for $2 EACH bottle. Sigh.
Oh, let us not forget, Target DOES take a manufacturer coupon WITH their Target coupon.
YAY!
I had a bundle of Glade B1G1Free Coupons From:
Glade Fabric & Air Odor Eliminator B1G1F to $4.29 Insert: S 5/10 exp. 6/20

So, I bought 6 @ $2.99 (sale)
Used 6 of the attached Target coupons (-$12.00)
Used 3 of the B1G1F coupons (-$2.99 X 3 = - $8.97)
So, 3 were Free
The coupons took off an additional $12.00
This gave me XTRA $3.03 overage
NICE!!!
It just rang up automatically, no special cashier thing.
Look for the bottles with the hanging coupon like my pictures show.

Look for a hanging tag/coupon like this. The coupon is on the back and tears right off!

I was really happy because my cashier didn't look at my coupons funny... as a matter of fact, when I was DONE, the lady behind me said, "Can you do that to MY order?" LOL. The cashier said, Yeah, you did great! Thanks ladies!

I also did the Kellogg's deal. Using $1/1 coupons from this Sunday
Kellogg’s All-Bran, Special K or Raisin Bran Cereal, 11.4oz+ $1 Insert: RP 6/7 exp. 7/19

The Kellogg's Special K cereals are on sale for $2.39 each box, and there is a Store special where you BUY 3 BOXES, get 1 BOX of CRACKERS for FREE! This comes off automatically. Wellllll, you can also go to coupons.com HERE and print out a coupon good for 1 BOX of CRACKERS FREE when you buy 3 Kellogg's cereals!!! SO, you can buy:
  1. Box of Special K Cereal $2.39 - $1/1 Coupon = $1.39
  2. Box of Special K Cereal $2.39 - $1/1 Coupon = $1.39
  3. Box of Special K Cereal $2.39 - $1/1 Coupon = $1.39
  4. Box of Kelloggs Crackers $2.89 - B3G1F coupon = $0.00
  5. Box of Kelloggs Crackers $2.89 -Automatic Register deduction = $0.00
  6. Total Cost = $4.17 plus tax
When combined (if you can find the hang tags), you can do the Glade deal, the cereal deal and possibly get $3 off your cereal total.. making your total just over a $1 plus tax!!! WOW!

All my goodies! Only $5 bucks and some change! Cha-ching!

I ALSO got Shin Guards (soccer) for my daughter on clearance for $3.24 AND 3 BAGS of Black (and yucky in my opinion) licorice.. each bag? Marked $.14. Yep, FOURTEEN CENTS a bag. Tee Hee.
You can click on my picture above to enlarge it for detail.

My Total OOP was just over $5.XX for all that you see in the pic!!
PLUS, even without the cracker coupon, if I had the coupons for the cereal only, that would be enough for me to buy it. We love cereal and I will buy it at $1.35 or less per box. I think that's a great deal. I usually get the b1g1f deals at Publix and use $1 off coupons when I can.. that is usually around $2.19 for 2 boxes. So getting the Special K for $1.39 with coupon.. plus the free crackers... is still a good deal in my book!

Warmly,
Tracey C.

Cheap PURE laundry detergent & Cheese @ Walgreens

What do CHEESE & Laundry Soap have in common? You can get BOTH really cheap at Walgreens if you get lucky! I got the *NEW* Purex 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets, which are on sale for $5.99 for 20 sheets/loads. You get back a $2 RR AND you can pre-print a coupon (or 2 if you hit your back browser) for $1.00 off HERE
making it only $2.99 after rewards and coupon. These new laundry sheets are supposed to have the soap to wash your clothes, and then you move it with the clothes to the dryer as a fabric softener sheet. Wonderful concept, but will it work? I'm going to try it!

I also found some of the DEERFIELD string cheese multi-packs 6oz..NOT marked on clearance, but if you see them, SCAN THEM!!! (actually, the cashier has to do it, but whatever!) These rang up for $.57 each!! I think there are 8 in the pack, but it might be 6. I need to look! I have pics, but I won't load them up til tomorrow. I got 3 packs! I had seen these on clearance at another Walgreens, but I wasn't going home right then and didn't want them sitting in my hot car. I knew they wouldn't last at that price. But when I saw them hanging in the cold case I knew I should check..sure enough!

So, I got $5.99 Purex 3-in-1
$.57 X 3 String Cheese
$.25 shoe charm for daughter. (just seeing it rang up for $.99, so it's going back since I need to go back anyway and was just using as a filler)
Used $1/1 coupon
two register rewards for $2 (from Ecotrin)
subtotal $3.69 tax $.48
OOP cost (out of pocket) $4.17
Got back $2 in RR

The Purex smells really good too! We cut up some of the cheese tonight and put it on some Triscuits with apples slices, melted, yummy!

2nd Walgreens Trip:
5 newspapers @ $1.25 each (why? Normally $1.50, weird!)
Artists pencils on clearance package for $.57
Colored index cards on clearance for $.50 (school in Fall)
Penway eraser set on clearance $.49 (treasure box for my girls)
St. Ives body wash $3.29 (NOT on sale, why did I think this was on sale this week??) used $1.50/1 coupon
Paid with $10.00 RR from Bayer Contour Meter
subtotal= $.09
Tax= $.79

OOP $.88

***Take a peek a the school supply/office isle, there have been tons of things on clearance in all the Wags around here. Scotch tape 3 pack double sided, pencils, folders, dry erase markers, notebooks, folder tabs, tube mailers, duck bubble wrap (small & large), various pens and pencils, glue dot roller, compass, packing tape, much more.

I am going back to get another of the Purex, no scratch that. I better do a load of clothes with them first to see if I like them before using more of my register rewards!

Pics later..warmth,
Tracey C.

Sunday BIG coupon day! 3 inserts on 6/7 Smart Source, Red Plum & P&G

Sunday is a great day for coupons friends! There will be 3 inserts in most areas, including the RedPlum (RP), Smart Source (SS) and the Proctor and Gamble (P&G).

I get my sneak peek from Refund Cents website.

I have been a member there for several years, it is a paid subscription and I subscribe to the ONLINE only version. It is only $12 a year for full internet access. I get the full preview of every insert every week before it comes out and THEN I can view the past inserts into infinity (AND BEYOND!!! Heh Heh) since the database stays updated. You can become a subscriber to BOTH the online version AND the print magazine (I used to do this) for $25 a year. The print magazine for Refund Cents.

The magazine is very visual, has lots of pictures, posts all the newest rebates/refunds available and is just fun in general. Some people really prefer this subscription because they can read the mag at their leisure. I had that for awhile, but now I just use the online version!! Anyway, this is SOOOOOO helpful when I need to find a particular coupon but can't remember which week it came out! I know there are lots of freebie places to find coupons, but I guess I'm loyal to RC!

My favorite part is Centsible Chat because people all across the nation post their good deal finds, where to find rare coupons and links and codes for $$ off online, in store, etc. It is SUCH an easy format and really fun to browse every day. Michele, the site owner, has run this website, which began as a refunding/couponing magazine, for 29 years!! Amazing! She has her own update page that features the best of the best deals. There are rebate lists, refunding tips/aids, trading boards, freebie boards, CVS deals spot, Walgreens deals spots (with coupon match -ups). It has it all. I keep coming back for the Centsible Chat board and the easy coupon info though. I have saved $1,000's of dollars every year JUST FROM THE CHAT!!! Really!

Anyway, if you want to take a peek, go to REFUNDCENTS.com and take a peek. Most items not available to non-subscribers, but you can look around and get an idea or just pay $4 and join online for 3 months.. a nice cheap way to test the waters! The links above are my affiliate links for the site, so if you decide to sign up, I'd appreciate if you would go through them, thanks so much! Also, if you have any questions, drop me an email, I'd love to chat! And as you can often see from my posts, I've learned alot from RC! I'll post a peek at some of the weekend coupons later today. Have a super day!

Warmly,
Tracey C.

FREE STUFF for GOOD GRADES??

What's my kid smiling for? She's excited about this.........

Is your student an "A" student? Want to encourage them and reward them for their hard work this year? Of course you do!!

According to Who Said Nothing In Life Is Free???? blog, there are LOTS of potential programs to reward your child. I say potential, because, let's face it, lots of businesses make up their own policy as they go! Soooo, while these look good, just be sure to CALL the business up and CONFIRM these programs are in place before you get excited (or get that student excited!). Once you find one or two.. or ALL of them, give me a shout back here and let us all know what worked for you, and what didn't. I'll report from my area.

Thanks so much to Amy!! You Rock Amy!

Please visit her page HERE to see the list.
Krispy Kreme, McDonalds, Chick-Fil-A just to name a few!
WOW!

Revlon PINK Hair Dryer, ONLY $2.99!! @ Walgreens!

Wow, I finally found one of the PINK Revlon Hair Dryers at Walgreens! Someone in this town likes hair dryers, that's for sure! Want one? Here's the deal:

Revlon Pink Ionic Hair Dryer is on sale for $12.99. It may be tagged @ $19.99, but it should ring up at the lower price. You can always ask a sales associate to check the price at the register. The great news is that after you buy the dryer, you will get a $10.00 Register Reward (catalina coupon) printed out for $10 off your next purchase! Wow! A new dryer for only $2.99 (plus tax). GREAT DEAL!

Here's another scenario: You buy the Bayer Contour Diabetic Meter for $10.00. See ad for details. You use one of the FREE Bayer Coupons (good for up to $30 off) to get it FREE OR you can use the mail in rebate on the product to get your money back later by mail. You can find the Bayer coupons in the following inserts/Sunday coupons:

Breeze 2 or Contour Meter $30 RP 10/26 Exp. 7/31/2009
Bayer Breeze2 or Contour Meter – up to $30.00 SS 3/22 Exp. 9/30/2009

Once you buy the Contour or Breeze Meter for $10, you will get back a REGISTER REWARD for $10!!! So you get it FREE, then you get back $10 in RR! THEN you use the $10 to purchase your Revlon Hair Dryer! It will only cost $2.99 and you will get back the $10 in RR to use for a different purchase!

ALSO: You can FIRST purchase the Ecotrin that is on sale in the ad for $2.00. This also is FREE after RR. You can use the $2/1 Ecotrin coupon from the SS 5/17 if you were lucky enough to get that in your region's insert. No tax here, so you get the Ecotrin, give the $2 coupon, pay nothing, wait for your Catalina coupon to print for $2! Then you go can go buy the Contour meter if you plan to. Then you use your $10 RR and your $2 RR. You pick up a small item (filler) because you must have at least 2 items to use 2 coupons. Look for something cheap from the clearance isle, like the $.25 REAL SOFT toilet paper 4 packs on clearance. Or maybe a folder from the office/school supply clearance for $.50. Look for the clearance on Scotch tape products too! So, you now have your 2 items, you get a little more off your blow dryer $10 plus whatever is left of the $2 ecotrin RR after you subtract your small filler item. Great deal huh? Make sure you get your RR! If for some reason the machine doesn't print, don't leave! Get that coupon before you go, even if they have to re-ring you at a register that has a working Catalina machine!

Here's wishing lots of freebies and deals to you all.... these deals are good through Saturday!
Warmly,
Tracey C.
