If you haven't heard, people have been excited this week because of a $4 off 4 coupon in the Publix weekly ad. Apparently, the coupon is good off ANY 4 General Mills or Nature Valley products (size restriction is like 5 oz and larger, or similar so 4 yogurt cups wouldn't work). LOTS and LOTS of great deals because you can combine a Publix coupon with a Manufacturers coupon!
Example: Buy 2 Pillsbury SIMPLY refrigerated cookies on sale for $2 and use 2 of the $1.25/1 IP (internet printable) coupons HERE. (you can print 2)
Also, buy 2 Yoplait Smoothies (in frozen section, these are used to MAKE smoothies), Strawberry Banana or Triple Berry, 7.6 oz bag, 2/$5
Use two -$1/1 from 10-04-09 SS
Then, Use the $4/4 Publix coupon:
-$4.00 Off the purchase of Four (4) General Mills or Nature Valley Products, Assorted Varieties, 5-oz pkg or larger
You end up with $2 + $2 + $5 = $9 minus $4.50 in Man coupons and $4 for the Publix coupon = $.50 for ALL four of those great products! You could instead get FOUR cookies, use 2 of the IP's and then 2 man. coupons for $1/1 from the 9/13 GenMills Sunday insert and your total of $8 minus $4 Publix Q and minus $4.50 in man. Q's = $.50 over your total!

I snagged this deal for Nature Valley granola bars that my husband takes in his lunch--4 boxes for $10, less the $4 in-ad Q, less $.40 MQs doubled to $.80,or $2.80 for 4 boxes of granola bars!
