  1. What do the abbreviations mean (P&G, SS, etc.)?

Stacy, the abbreviations are for the companies that put out those particular inserts, the SS is Smart Source, the RP is Red Plum (also known as Valassis) and P&G is Proctor and Gamble (they have their own!) You can identify which coupon insert people are talking about this way. The Smart Source/Red Plum are labeled across the top in front/on sides. This helps when looking for past coupons. When I say from the 6/28 SS, it means the Smart Source coupon insert that came out the weekend of June 28, for example. Hope this helps! Warmly, Tracey
