TARGET Great Kellogg's Cereal Deal & FREE Glade Spray!

Target, oh how you make me smile! Your Dollar Spot can save some green, but mine is so much more AMAZING!! :)

Today at Target, I found the Glade Spray bottles (pump/fabric/air freshener spray) with the attached TARGET coupon for $2 EACH bottle. Sigh.
Oh, let us not forget, Target DOES take a manufacturer coupon WITH their Target coupon.
YAY!
I had a bundle of Glade B1G1Free Coupons From:
Glade Fabric & Air Odor Eliminator B1G1F to $4.29 Insert: S 5/10 exp. 6/20

So, I bought 6 @ $2.99 (sale)
Used 6 of the attached Target coupons (-$12.00)
Used 3 of the B1G1F coupons (-$2.99 X 3 = - $8.97)
So, 3 were Free
The coupons took off an additional $12.00
This gave me XTRA $3.03 overage
NICE!!!
It just rang up automatically, no special cashier thing.
Look for the bottles with the hanging coupon like my pictures show.

Look for a hanging tag/coupon like this. The coupon is on the back and tears right off!

I was really happy because my cashier didn't look at my coupons funny... as a matter of fact, when I was DONE, the lady behind me said, "Can you do that to MY order?" LOL. The cashier said, Yeah, you did great! Thanks ladies!

I also did the Kellogg's deal. Using $1/1 coupons from this Sunday
Kellogg’s All-Bran, Special K or Raisin Bran Cereal, 11.4oz+ $1 Insert: RP 6/7 exp. 7/19

The Kellogg's Special K cereals are on sale for $2.39 each box, and there is a Store special where you BUY 3 BOXES, get 1 BOX of CRACKERS for FREE! This comes off automatically. Wellllll, you can also go to coupons.com HERE and print out a coupon good for 1 BOX of CRACKERS FREE when you buy 3 Kellogg's cereals!!! SO, you can buy:
  1. Box of Special K Cereal $2.39 - $1/1 Coupon = $1.39
  2. Box of Special K Cereal $2.39 - $1/1 Coupon = $1.39
  3. Box of Special K Cereal $2.39 - $1/1 Coupon = $1.39
  4. Box of Kelloggs Crackers $2.89 - B3G1F coupon = $0.00
  5. Box of Kelloggs Crackers $2.89 -Automatic Register deduction = $0.00
  6. Total Cost = $4.17 plus tax
When combined (if you can find the hang tags), you can do the Glade deal, the cereal deal and possibly get $3 off your cereal total.. making your total just over a $1 plus tax!!! WOW!

All my goodies! Only $5 bucks and some change! Cha-ching!

I ALSO got Shin Guards (soccer) for my daughter on clearance for $3.24 AND 3 BAGS of Black (and yucky in my opinion) licorice.. each bag? Marked $.14. Yep, FOURTEEN CENTS a bag. Tee Hee.
You can click on my picture above to enlarge it for detail.

My Total OOP was just over $5.XX for all that you see in the pic!!
PLUS, even without the cracker coupon, if I had the coupons for the cereal only, that would be enough for me to buy it. We love cereal and I will buy it at $1.35 or less per box. I think that's a great deal. I usually get the b1g1f deals at Publix and use $1 off coupons when I can.. that is usually around $2.19 for 2 boxes. So getting the Special K for $1.39 with coupon.. plus the free crackers... is still a good deal in my book!

Warmly,
Tracey C.

  2. Hey Molly! Look at the breakdown carefully. I bought 6. The steps explain which coupons I used and what it took off my total. I had a total of 9 coupons.. 3 manufacturer and 6 Target. Target will take BOTH a store coupon AND a Man. coupon for ONE item. The store uses their own coupons as a type sale, they dont get reimbursed by anyone for their own coupon. BUT they do get reimbursed for a manufacturer coupon, this is why many stores take both on one item. A manufacturers coupon is like the customer paying with cash (they get that money in the form of a check from the company that issued the coupon). Hope that clears it up.
Thanks for visiting my blog and let me know if you have more questions, you can always email me from the home page.
    Warmly,
    Tracey C.
