As a book reviewer for Booksneeze, I am happy to offer my review of one of the newest books by author Max Lucado titled:
Outlive Your Life
You Were Made to Make a Difference
by Max Lucado
Max Lucado's newest book, Outlive Your Life is a call to arms. Loving arms. Giving arms. Max uses his particular style of Bible based examples to take the reader into the lives of the men and women who served following Christ, and how their loving service to God brought down cultural walls, emotional walls and brought the multitudes to salvation through Christ. He brings us to today and shows us, with his easy to hear message, how we can dare to do the same today!
This book is absolutely spectacular! Of all of the books of his that I have read, this book touched me more than any other. The heart of this book is to get each and every person to stand up, take notice and make a move (even a tiny one) to make a difference in this life. YOUR Life. Because what you do CAN make a difference. I know it sounds a bit trite, but I assure you that you will be moved by this call. Perhaps the most affecting plea to me was that I certainly can make a difference, and I don't have to wait until I have more money, a cleaner house, a better position..a more anything before I can alter the life of someone. Maybe several someones. Maybe hundreds, even. Why stop there? Listen, if you have a heart for the poor, the hungry, the broken hearted, the elderly, the enslaved, the lonely, the unsaved, the lost and sick..you MUST read this amazing book! You will feel empowered, you will feel motivated, you will get on your knees in prayer and thank God that you have the ability to make a difference and the will to do so. Then you will possibly ask, "What do you want me to do today, Lord?" Do not hesitate to get this book and read it. Then share it with a friend. Together we can really change lives, and we can do it starting right now. Brothers and Sisters, we are of one like mind, one family and one very loving, forgiving and merciful God. Let's share that gift with others as soon as we can!
